John (Jack) Daiss - Technical Director

Dr. Jack Daiss was initially a Research Scientist and later a Group Leader for Immunotechnology within Eastman Kodak's Clinical Diagnostics Research Laboratories. At Kodak, Jack directed multiple groups of scientists investigating novel manufacturing technologies (e.g., inkjet printing), immunoassay formats and biomarkers.

Dr. Daiss later became a Senior Research Fellow in Johnson and Johnson's Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics group, where his primary work involved the identification of new diagnostic opportunities in neuroscience and cardiovascular disease. In addition, Jack managed the technical elements of JNJ's outlicensing initiatives, including the licensing of its "Hot-start" PCR technology.

Most recently, Dr. Daiss was Vice President of Research for Egenix, Inc., which focused on developing the diagnostic and therapeutic for an antibody based approach to prostate cancer. Jack has provided technical management for both our diagnostic and drug development projects, including co-principal investigator on $360,000 of supporting R&D grants.
